1. Publisher and scope
Kaern is a personal project published by Antoine Nion. These terms apply to kaern.app and the Kaern mobile app. Contact: [email protected].
Kaern is currently provided free of charge as a private, invitation-only beta. No payment or subscription is active. If a paid offer is introduced later, its price and terms will be shown before you subscribe.
2. Account and use
You must provide accurate information, protect access to your account, and use Kaern only for personal and lawful purposes. A minor may use Kaern only with the permission and under the responsibility of a legal guardian.
You remain responsible for the information, goals, comments, and files you add. You can disconnect a data provider or delete your account from the app.
3. Coaching, AI, and health
Kaern uses automated processing, including artificial intelligence, to provide its coaching features. Responses may be incomplete or inaccurate: review them and always adjust effort to how you actually feel.
Kaern does not provide medical advice or diagnosis, replace a doctor, physiotherapist, or human coach, or guarantee athletic results. If you experience pain, injury, illness, or doubt, stop exercising and consult a healthcare professional.
4. Third-party services
Some features depend on third parties, including authentication, activity providers, hosting, and AI services. Their own terms may also apply. Kaern cannot guarantee their availability.
Kaern does not use connected data to train its own artificial intelligence models and does not sell it for advertising purposes.
5. Availability and beta status
The beta is provided “as is.” Errors, temporary loss of features, or changes may occur. We may suspend access in cases of misuse, security risk, or discontinuation of the service.
6. Intellectual property
Kaern, its visual identity, text, and software are protected. You retain your rights in content you provide and grant only the permissions needed to operate the service.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Antoine Nion is not liable for indirect loss or for decisions based solely on a Kaern recommendation. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights.
8. Governing law and contact
French law applies, subject to the mandatory rules of your country of residence. If an issue arises, contact [email protected] first so we can try to resolve it amicably.
